Blessings from God to Behold!

“Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.

He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.”  (Psalm1:1-3)

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Greetings in the love of God and a blessed New year!

It is a joy to share the blessing of God for us through His holy Word in Psalm 1:1-3.

It is God’s blessing of being guarded by His protective arms.

It is God’s blessing of imparting us wisdom for godly discernment through His Word and in deepening our relationship with Him.

It is God’s blessing to keep us rooted in Him and so to bear fruit for His Kingdom.

Therefore, our theme for this year, ‘Intentional Discipleship rooted in His love’, will remind us and spur us to remain within God’s gracious blessedness.

And our focus for this year, ‘Word and Prayer’, will help us grow as disciple of Christ and our dependency on God.

Let us journey together through 2025 in strengthening our faith foundation “like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.”

Let us be delightful in God’s Word and be devoted to deepen our understanding and application of God’s teachings.

Let us hold onto His good counsel by guarding our God given boundaries so as to remain in His blessed path for us.

May we encourage, nurture and spur one another on to mature as faithful disciples of Christ.

May the Holy Spirit empower us in our discipleship journey, may the grace of our Lord and Saviour, Christ Jesus, strengthen us when we are weak and may the love of our Heavenly Father deepen our relationship with Him and in our community of faith. Amen!

In Christ love,

Rev Daniel Lee
